Kabul/IBNS: Suspected Taliban terrorists killed four members of a family, including a tribal elder, in  Maidan Wardak province of Afghanistan, media reports said on Sunday.

The incident happened in Chak district after the Taliban shot “the tribal elder, his wife, son and grandson,” Mohib Sharifzai, a spokesman for the provincial governor, told Tolo News.

The official did not share details any further on the incident.

However, the Taliban denied involvement and said that the “people were killed close to a government checkpoint", reported the Afghanistan-based news portal.
