Syrian rebel blows up himself, comrades while taking selfie

London, Sept 16 (IBNS): A Syrian rebel accidentally blew up himself and his comrades when he was taking selfie with a mobile phone that was probably connected to a bomb, media reports said.

In a sort video, where few men are seen sitting in front of a rebel flag and singing on the microphone, one of them is spotted attempting to take selfie with a phone.

"The 30-second clip, which has not been verified, shows one of the rebels holding a mobile phone up in front of his face to take a selfie of the group," mirror.co.uk reported.

"But as he hits the button, it triggers an explosion which fills the room with flames and smoke," it said.

All of them are believed to be members of the Free Syrian Army.
