Teenage boy arrested in Dhaka for allegedly raping minor

Dhaka, July 5 (IBNS): A teenage boy has been arrested in Bangladesh for allegedly raping a seven-year-old girl in country's capital Dhaka city, media reports said.

The 17-year-old boy has been arrested in connection with the case, Mosharaf Hossain, a sub-inspector of Dhanmondi Police Station, told The Daily Star.

The seven-year-old victim was allegedly raped by the accused, a canteen boy of the hospital, after she with her mother went to the hospital yesterday afternoon, SI Mosharaf told the newspaper.

The victim's mother filed a case in connection with the matter later.
