Toronto: A large number of people in Canadian city of Toronto recently  staged a protest against the Communist Chinese regime outside the Chinese consulate.

Speakers urged the Chinese communist party to free Tibet and Hong Kong and also opposed Chinese aggression in Ladakh, reports ANI news agency.

The demonstrators also urged the Canadian government to boycott use of Chinese products.

"They asked international communities to intervene in order to get two Canadians released who have been held hostage by the Chinese government," reports ANI.

They also protested against the Chinese government's treatment towards Uyghur people.

Tibetans and Vietanamese diaspora also participated in the protest held on Sunday.
