Tribal elder gunned down in Afghanistan
Kandahar, Jan 3 (IBNS): A tribal elder and member of the local district council has been gunned down by unknown men in Afghanistan's southern Kandahar province on Tuesday, media reports said.
Security officials have not confirmed the killing of Haji Nasrullah Achakzai but a trusted source confirmed the matter to Afghanistan news agency Pajhwok Afghan News on the incident.
No group has claimed responsibility for the incident so far.
