Twitter may charge commercial and government users: Tesla chief Elon Musk

| @indiablooms | May 04, 2022, at 02:00 pm

Washington:  Tesla CEO Elon Musk has hinted that once he fully acquires Twitter, the service might cost a bit for commercial and government users.

However, he confirmed the micro-blogging site will remain free for casual users.

"Twitter will always be free for casual users, but maybe a slight cost for commercial/government users," he tweeted.

"Ultimately, the downfall of the Freemasons was giving away their stonecutting services for nothing," he said.

Twitter, last week, said it agreed to be acquired by Musk in a deal worth $44 billion.
