Two soldiers die during encounter with terrorists in Pakistan

Islamabad: Two military servicemen were killed in an encounter with terrorists in Pakistan's Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province's North Waziristan district, according to a military statement released on late Sunday night.

According to Inter-Services Public Relations (ISPR), the military's media wing, army personnel and terrorists engaged in a firefight on Saturday that left two terrorists dead and two others injured as well as the deaths of the soldiers.

The ISPR reported that weapons and ammo were found on the terrorists who were killed.

It said, "The area has undergone sanitization to eradicate any other terrorists found in the area."
