US President Donald Trump commences his China visit

Washington./Beijing, Nov 8 (IBNS): US President Donald Trump has arrived in China for his three-day state visit to the nation.

The President visited the Forbidden City.

During the tour of the ancient palace, they visited Taihedian, Zhonghedian and Baohedian, the three main halls of the Forbidden City, Xinhua news agency reported.

Chinese President Xi Jinping and his wife Peng Liyuan invited U.S. President Donald Trump and his wife Melania Trump to the city, as per the news agency report.

Trump earlier tweeted: "Leaving South Korea now heading to China. Looking very much forward to meeting and being with President Xi!."
