CSB Bank net profit moves up by 72.09 pc to Rs 118.57 crore

Mumbai/UNI: Private sector lender, CSB Bank has reported a rise of 72.09 in its net profit for the quarter ended September 30, 2021 at Rs 118.57 crore, against Rs 68.90 crore in the corresponding quarter of the previous year.

Total income for the quarter under review advanced by 8.15 pc to Rs 555.64 crore as compared with Rs 513.77 crore for the quarter ended September 30. 2020.

Gross NPA was at Rs 586.83 crs in Q2 FY2022 against Rs 387.42 crs in Q2 FY2021.

Net NPA was at Rs 370.06 crs in Q2 FY2022 against Rs 163.52 crs in Q2 FY2021.

GNPA was at 4.11 pc of Gross advances as on September 30, 2021 as compared to 3.04 pc as on September 30, 2020.

Net NPA was at 2.63 pc of Gross advances as on September 30, 2021 as compared to 1.30 px as on September 30, 2020.

Return on Average Assets (RoA) is at 2.02 pc for Q2 FY2022 against 1.03 pc in Q1 FY2022 and 1.22 pc in Q2 FY2021.

In Q2 FY2022, Bank's total Capital Adequacy Ratio (CAR) was at 20.12 pc, as compared to 19.69 pc in Q2 FY2021.
