Indian market closes in positive territory but falls below day's high

Mumbai, April 23 (IBNS): Key Indian benchmark indices closed flat with positive bias on Monday, ending below their day's high, according to market reports.

At the close of business on Monday, the BSE Sensex was up 35.19 points at 34450.77 and the NSE Nifty was up 20.70 points at 10584.70.

IndusInd Bank, Yes Bank, M&M, BPCL, HCL Tech, Asian Paints, Sun Pharma and Cipla were some of the stocks that gained on Monday while Hindalco, UPL, Coal India, Grasim, Hero Motocorp, Tata Motors, Vedanta, ICICI Bank and HDFC Bank were some of the key stocks that declined.
