UNESCO recognizes Gujarat's Rani-ki-Vav as World Heritage Site

New Delhi, June 22 (IBNS): The Indian government on Sunday said the Rani –ki –Vav, a step well situated in Gujarat, has been approved for inscription on the World Heritage list.

Ayesha Sultana hails from Bangladesh but received her BFA in Visual Arts and subsequently a Post-Graduate Diploma in Art Education at Beaconhouse National University in Lahore. After a series of group exhibitions in Bangladesh, India and Pakistan, the artist is presently in Kolkata with her first solo exhibition 'Outside the Field of View' at the Experimenter gallery in the eastern city.
