Arun Jaitley files second defamation suit against Kejriwal

New Delhi, May 22 (IBNS) : Finance Minister Arun Jaitley has filed a second defamation suit against Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal, asking for Rs. 10 crore damages after being called a "crook" in court by his lawyer Ram Jethmalani, NDTV reports said.

The case is to be heard in the Delhi High Court  on Tuesday.

Jethmalani used the word last week while questioning the minister in court in connection with the ongoing defamation suit against the Delhi Chief Minister and five other Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) leaders.

"He (Arun Jaitley) is a crook and I will show this," Jethmalani had said. To Mr Jaitley's immediate objection, he added, "Let the court note that I am doing this with my client's consent."

Kejriwal has been named along with top leaders from his AAP in separate criminal and civil cases.
