Bihar: Two BJP leaders killed in 12 hours
Bhojpur, Bihar, Fab 12 (IBNS): A top Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader in Bihar was killed on Friday in the state's Bhojpur district, media reports said.
The leader has been identified as Visheshwar Ojha, who was the Vice President of the BJP in the state.
He was 45.
According to reports, he was shot dead in his SUV while returning from a wedding.
Police suspect that a dozen gunmen in cars and on bikes shot four times at him.
His name appears in more than 10 criminal cases on charges including murder.
He contested the Bihar elections last year unsuccessfully.
Ojha was accompanied by his driver and another person who also received injuries in the attack but are said to be out of danger.
According to the party, another senior leader named Kedar Singh was killed in the Chappra district on Friday morning itself.
