Case filed against Maulana Taukir Raza for hate speeches

Bareilly/UNI: A case was registered against Ittehad-e-Millat Council (IMC) president Maulana Taukir Raza and 53 others for inciting speeches during protest against Citizen Amendment Act.

Superintendent of police (city) Ravindra Kumar here on Sunday said that several people led by Maulana Taukir Raza, gathered at Naumhala mosque gate in Kotwali area on Friday. Despite of section 144 was imposed Maulana passed derogatory comments.

After video containing objectionable material went viral senior officials take serious note of it. Following which case was registered against 53 persons including Maulana Raza for violating prohibitory orders and other sections.
