Congress leader Ashok Kaka shot dead in Rohtak

Rohtak, Apr 22 (IBNS) Hariyana Congress leader Ashok Kaka was shot dead by three unidentified miscreants at Rohtak on Friday morning, reports said.

Kaka, 58, also the former president of a jewellers’ association, was taking a morning walk along Double Park around 6.30 am when the assailants came by on motorcycles and shot him three times.

Kaka was rushed to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Sciences, where he was declared brought dead.

Police said prima facie,property dispute was the reason for the murder.

The body has been sent for a post-mortem examination, and a probe is underway.
