Cop battling depression jumps off 10th floor
New Delhi, Nov 29 (IBNS): A senior police officer died after allegedly jumping off 10th floor of the police headquarters building here on Thursday, reports said.
Prem Ballabh, 53, was being treated for depression. Reports said he had recently spent four weeks at a government hospital for this.
Ballabh was declared brought dead when the cops found him lying by the building and rushed him to a hospital.
The deceased officer had been promoted to the rank of assistant commissioner of police in 2016. He had joined Delhi Police as head constable in 1986.
