Delhi shocker: Father stages acid attack using daughter to settle scores!

New Delhi/IBNS: A police probe into the allegations of an acid attack on a 19-year-old Delhi University student has found startling revelations, media reports said.

The probe found the female student had falsely brought acid attack charges against three men at the behest of her father, who wanted to settle scores with the main accused Jitender.

The student was on Sunday admitted to Deep Chand Bandhu Hospital with acid attack burn injuries.

In a police complaint, she had alleged Jitender followed her on a bike along with two others, Ishan and Arman, and threw acid on her while she was heading for an extra class in North West Delhi's Ashok Vihar.

Her father Akil Khan has now been arrested for using toilet cleaner to stage the acid attack.

The probe found Khan was accused of rape by Jitender's wife, whose complaint led to a First Information Report (FIR).

Jitender's wife has accused Khan of coercing into sex and sharing her obscene pictures with her husband.

Top five points

1. The student's father admitted that he and his daughter had falsely implicated Jitender and his two associates.

2. Police said the CCTV footage and call record details challenge the student's allegations.

3. Jitender's wife had filed the rape complaint two days prior to the supposed acid attack incident.

4. The two other acid attack accused were in Agra with their mother while the incident allegedly took place.

5. None of the three accused were seen on CCTV footage that instead captured the student being dropped to Ashok Vihar by her brother on a two-wheeler. From Ashok Vihar, she was seen boarding an e-rickshaw.
