ED summons Shah Rukh Khan over IPL FEMA case

New Delhi, July 20 (IBNS): Enforcement Directorate has summoned Bollywood superstar and Kolkata Knight Riders co-owner Shah Rukh Khan over the Foreign Exchange Management Act (FEMA) violation case pertaining to the Indian Premier League (IPL), media reports said on Thursday.

ED summoned Khan for selling some shares of the Knight Riders Sports Private Limited (KRSPL) to a Mauritius-based firm post 2008, at a rate lower than the market value.

KRSPL owns the cricket team KKR in the Indian Premier League.

ED had asked Khan to appear before it, physically.

Earlier in the month of March, Khan, his wife Gauri and KKR's another co-owner Juhi Chawla were summoned.
