Gaya, Aug 30 (UNI) Special Task Force (STF) of West Bengal seized huge consignment of explosives and time-bomb making equipment under Mufassil police station area in the district late last night on the tip-off provided by a terrorist of Jammat-ul-Mujahideen (J-u-M) of Bangladesh, who was nabbed in the district recently.

Confirming link of seized explosives and time bomb making equipment with the nabbed terrorist, deputy police superintendent Dhuran Mandal said here today that Anti Terror Squads of West Bengal and Bihar were conducting raids at various places to nab two terrorist suspects- Moti Ahmed and Arif Raza who were absconding following recovery of the explosive materials and time bomb making equipment. He said explosives and other incriminating objects were stored apparently to trigger a terrorist act on a large scale.

West Bengal STF had arrested the terrorist of Bangladesh’s J-u-M Ejaz Ahmed from Pathan Toli locality under Buniyadganj police station area in Manpur block area in the district on August 26.

Besides Ejaz Ahmed, two absconding terrorists- Moti Ahmed and Arif Raza, reportedly natives of West Bengal, were suspected of having links with serial bomb blasts, which had taken place inside Mahabodhi Temple premises at Bodh Gaya in 2013.

The absconding terrorists were spreading their tentacles in the district by posing as hawkers selling clothes.
