Gaya: Two girls die under mysterious circumstances

Gaya/UNI: Two girls died under mysterious circumstances at Gorela village under Mohanpur police station area in Gaya district today.

Police said here that wife Munni Devi and daughters Anshu Kumari, Priyanshu and Rani were found unconscious late this morning when locals broke open door of their house as it was not opened despite being knocked by neighbours. Munni Devi and their daughters were rushed to a local hospital where Priyanshu and Anshu died during the treatment, police added.

"Munni and Rani had been shifted to Anugrah Narain Medical College and Hospital", police said adding that doctors suspected it to be a case of poisoning.

Bodies of Priyanshu and Anshu had been sent for postmortem, police further said and added that the case was being investigated from all possible angles. Surendra, husband of Munni Devi worked as carpenter in Allahabad, police informed.
