Jharkhand: Hemant Soren elected leader of legislature wing of JMM

Ranchi/UNI: The newly elected MLAs of the Jharkhand Mukti Morcha have elected Hemant Soren as the leader of legislature wing of the party.

In a meeting held at the residence of JMM supremo Shibu Soren, the MLAs unanimously elected Hemant as their leader. On the other hand, the Congress party has too called a meeting of its newly elected MLAs.

Later in the evening, a meeting of all the elected MLAs of Mahagathbandhan comprising the JMM, Congress and RJD will be held at the residence of Shibu Soren following which all of them will go to the Raj Bhawan where Hemant will take claim to form the new government in the state.

JMM won a total of 30 seats in the assembly elections.
