JNU students to march to Parliament today
New Delhi, Mar 15 (IBNS) Protesting against the arrests of Anirban Bhattacharya and Umar Khalid, the JNU students will march to Parliament on Tuesday, according to reports.
Reports have also stated that Kanhaiya Kumar, JNUSU leader, will participate in the rally.
The agitating students want the release of the two arrested students and the sedition charges against them completely dropped.
Meanwhile, a probe committee set up for the JNU agitation, in their reports have suggested the expulsion of Kanhaiya and four others. The committee has also showcaused 21 students. The list also includes ABVP members.
Riposting the claim, students told a national channel that no reason for the showcause was mentioned and also pointed out that the committee did not have a single dalit member.
