Kolkata: Police bust porn-film production racket, 28 arrested

Kolkata, Dec 21 (IBNS): Acting on a tip off, the police on Monday busted one porn-film production racket and arrested at least twenty-eight (21 male and 7 female) from Salt Lake area in Kolkata, reports said.

According to reports, after getting specific information from sources, a team from Bidhannagar North Police Station raided a ceremonial house at Salt Lake DD Block on Monday afternoon when a pornographic film's shooting was underway.

Police arrested the whole production unit including director and actors from the spot. The owner of the house was also nabbed.

However, police have started investigation into the matter and the arrested people are being interrogated by the detective department of Bidhannagar Police Commissionerate.

Arrested 28 will be produced to the court on Tuesday.
