Last rites of IAF Marshal Arjan Singh begin

New Delhi, Sep 18 (IBNS): Last rites of Marshal of Indian Air Force (IAF), Arjan Singh, who died from a cardiac arrest two days ago, began on Monday morning.

The last rites are taking place at Brar Square in New Delhi.

Seventeen gun salutes were given along with flypast in the honour of the Marshal.

Defence minister Nirmala Sitharaman, former Prime Minister Dr. Manmohan Singh and former Vice Prime Minister LK Advani were present to honour the Marshal.
