Militants planning to attack Delhi, says security agencies
New Delhi, Mar 23 (IBNS): Security has been beefed up across Delhi, Assam and Punjab after security agencies warned that a group of six terrorists led by a former Pakistani soldier have crossed the Pathankot border in Punjab to enter India, media reports said.
According to media reports, the alert has warned that militants could strike on Thursday.
Top sources told NDTV that security agencies, in a detailed alert, have said that a group of six terrorists led by a former Pakistani soldier Mohammed Khurshid Alam crossed into India on February 23 through "Pathankot, Punjab-Pakistan border."
Holi will be celebrated in India on Thursday.
