The deceased has been identified as Deva Ganagaprasad Asore.

After his parents separated, Deva was living with his mother since he was eight and dropped out of the school post his examination failure.

Recently, the maternal uncle of the deceased found him in an inebriated state, and questioned him about the episode.

On Thursday, Deva stayed back at the mobile shop where he used to work and didn't return home.

When his maternal uncle went to check on him, he discovered Deva's body hanging in the shop today, police said.

The body has been sent for post-mortem and a case of accidental death filed.
