Pakistan violates ceasefire in Poonch, Rajouri, Army retaliates

Jammu/UNI: Pakistan on Saturday yet again violated the ceasefire twice by firing unprovoked along the Line of Control (LoC) in Poonch and Rajouri districts of Jammu and Kashmir.

Defence Spokesman here said that Pakistan troops this afternoon at about 1230 hours violated ceasefire along LoC in Mendhar sector of district Poonch from 1230 hours to 1315 hours.

"Indian Army retaliated befittingly," he said adding that Pakistan also violated ceasefire along LoC in Lam, Nowshera sector of district Rajouri while Indian Army retaliating befittingly.
"No injury or any major damage has been reported on own side so far," he said.
