PM Modi congratulates President Kovind, says his speech inspiring

New Delhi, Jul 25 (IBNS) : Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Tuesday congratulated Ram Nath Kovind on his taking oath as the President of India.

"Congratulations to Shri Ram Nath Kovind ji on taking oath as the President of India," he tweeted.

Modi also praised the maiden speech delivered by the new President : "Very inspiring address by President Ram Nath Kovind Ji, which beautifully summed up the essence of India’s strengths, democracy & diversity."
