Jaipur, Oct 23 (IBNS) : Several Rajasthan Congress leaders, including Sachin Pilot, were detained by the police when they took part in a protest march towards Raj Bhavan in Jaipur, media reports said.

The leaders were protesting the tabling of the Criminal Laws (Rajasthan Amendment) Ordinance in the state Assembly, which seeks  to shield lawmakers and bureaucrats from probes unless approved by the Government.

Earlier, the state Assembly witnessed a pandemonium over the issue as Congress members went all out protesting the ordinance. The Speaker adjourned the session till Tuesday.
