Sushma Swaraj-led Indian delegation pay homage to Sushil Koirala

Kathmandu, Feb 9 (IBNS): External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj on Tuesday paid homage to former Nepal Prime Minister Sushil Koirala.

Swaraj -led an Indian delegation to Nepal to pay last tribute to the Nepal leader.

"All Party Delegation with MPs Anand Sharma, Sitaram Yechury, Sharad Yadav and NSA Ajit Doval pay their respects," MEA spokesperson Vikas Swarup tweeted.

Sushma Swaraj and other leaders met Nepal President Bidya Bhandari and
PM KP Oli.

Swaraj and other leaders later returned to India.

"A short visit to share sorrow. EAM @SushmaSwaraj and all party delegation departs for Delhi from Kathmandu," Swarup tweeted.

Nepali Congress President and former Prime Minister Koirala, 76, passed away on Tuesday.
