Teenage girl gang raped in hospital ICU in UP's Bareilly

Bareilly, Nov 4 (IBNS): In a horrific incident, a teenager girl was gang raped on Saturday inside the ICU by a hospital worker and four others in Uttar Pradesh's Bareilly, media reports said.

The girl was was admitted to the private hospital after being bitten by snake while working in her family farm.

She was reportedly alone in the ICU on Saturday.

According to reports, the staff member of the hospital has been arrested while police are on look out for others.

The girl, who has been admitted to hospital five days ago, narrated the incident to her grandmother only after she was shifted to the general ward.

An FIR has been lodged against the hospital worker and four others.

Police are also examining the CCTV footage of the hospital.

The victim told her grandmother that when she was alone in the ICU on Saturday night, a man in uniform and four others came near her.

The staff reportedly tried to inject her with a drug and the girl protested.

As a result, she was gagged and her hands were tied before being raped.
