New Delhi, Feb 29 (IBNS): Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Monday congratulated Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley over his budget and said it is about fulfilling the dreams of the people of India.

"This budget is about the dreams of the people. I congratulate FM @arunjaitley and his team," Modi said.

He said his government is focusing on qualitatively transforming the education sector.

"For us primary education is very important. A qualitative transformation of the education sector is what we are giving priority to," he said.

On the infrastructure sector, Modi said: "Substantial resources have been allocated to create infrastructure across India."

He said Indian youths, especially the Dalit youth and tribal youngsters, aims to become job creators and not job seekers today.

"In the health sector the Government has taken many initiatives. We want to stand shoulder to shoulder with people in times of illness," he said.

Modi said through the budget housing sector will be strengthened.

"This will boost our dream of 'Housing for All'," Modi said.

Union Finance Minister Arun Jaitley on Monday presented the Union Budget 2016 focusing on rural development and farm and social sector while offering some relief to tax payers as analysts see it as a pro-poor budget with big ideas which is a challenge for the government to implement.
