Two terrorist-linkmen held near Kolkata

Kolkata, Mar 12 (IBNS): The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Saturday detained two suspected terrorist linkmen from Andul area in West Bengal's Howrah district, sources said.

According to reports, two youths, who was identified as Sheikh Arif and Altaf Hossein, have been detained from Andul Panchpara area, for their alleged involvement with terrorists.

"We have detained two suspected terrorist-linkmen, Sheikh Arif and Altaf Hossein, and are searching for more two. Few sim cards, nearly 8 lakh rupees cash and documents indicating their link with terrorism have been seized from their possession. They are being questioned now," one NIA official told IBNS.

Earlier in February, the NIA booked a 19-year-old college student from Durgapur city in Burdwan district of West Bengal, for his alleged involvement with terror group ISIS.
