Uttar Pradesh: Rape victim hangs self in Barabanki: Reports
Lucknow/UNI: A 21-year-old rape victim hanged self from ceiling of her room in Barabanki district, a report said on Wednesday.
The woman, who was a law student and staying at her aunt’s place for studies. She took the extreme step on Monday.
The mother of the victim has alleged that the accused were pressuring her daughter to take back the case.
The girl was doing her internship under lawyer Harish Kumar Mishra at the Barabanki Civil Court.
