Kolkata/West Midnapore , Jan 7 (IBNS): Two officers of West Bengal Police were spotted serving tea and snacks to WB Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee and other guests, during an administrating event, on Tuesday in West Bengal's West Midnapore district.
Mamata Banerjee on Tuesday inaugurated the second edition of Jangalmahal Utsav through a programme in West Midnapor College Ground. Many other guests, including TMC MP Subhendu Adhikary and footballer-turned TMC MP Prasun Banerjee, were present at the occasion.

West Midnapore SP Bharati Ghosh, who is well known for her 'closeness' with the chief minister, was also present there and she called Mamata Banerjee "Mother of Jangalmahal" from the stage.

The Officer-in-Charge and IC of Kotwali Police Station, Sushanto Rajbonshi, were spotted serving tea and refreshments to the Chief Minister and other dignitaries on the open stage during the event, which has created a huge controversy.

However, when they were asked about the matter, West Midnapore SP Bharati Ghosh and IC of Kotwali Police Station Sushanto Rajbonshi refused to speak.
