Women drug peddler held in Sonbhadra with heroin worth Rs 12 lakh

Sonbhadra, Aug 25 (UNI) Local police have arrested a women drug peddler in Chopan area here on Sunday and recovered 125-gram heroin from her.

Police source said acting on a tip-off, Chopan police arrested Sudeshwari Devi near Bus station near Ultratech parking building and recovered heroin worth Rs 12lakh from her.

Police said that during investigation, it was revealed that arrested woman was involved in drug peddling for a long time. Police was trying to inquire about other members of the gang.
