New Delhi, Feb 2 (IBNS) Three states and a Union-Territory faced the wrath of All India Football Federation (AIFF) on Tuesday as they were disqualified by the nation's highest football governing body due to fielding of over-age players.

Punjab, Uttarkhand, Uttar Pradesh and Chandigarh were found guilty of breaching the code in the Sub-Junior National Football Championship after a two-member team consisting of a doctor and an official found one player from the following states fielding over-aged boys.

The AIFF in a release said that the disqualification will be followed by other actions pertaining to AIFF regulations.
