New Delhi, July 6 (IBNS): Indian skipper for the Zimbabwe series Ajinkya Rahane on Monday said he is looking forward to the upcoming tour to the African nation.

"We are looking forward for the Zimbabwe tour," Rahane said while addressing a press conference.

Rahane said his side will try to win the series in Zimbabwe.

He said he will follow his own style of captaincy.

"I have my own style of captaincy..I am very much confident about myself," Rahane said.

Speaking on his own performance, the cricketer said: "I am looking for consistency in ODI cricket..Whenever I bat in Tests or Twenty20s, I'm in a different zone. It's all about mindset."

Rahane said the series against Bangladesh where India were defeated by neighbours 2-1 in the ODI series is a matter of the past.

Regular skipper MS Dhoni and Test captain Virat Kohli, along with many other senior cricketers, have been rested for the tour.
