IPL Auction 2021 today, all eyes on Steve Smith

Mumbai/Chennai/IBNS: All eyes will be on Australian cricketer Steve Smith as the auction for the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2021 will be held on Thursday.

The auction will go live from 3 pm.

Smith, who is one of the best contemporary batsmen across all formats, will be up for grab for the franchises.

Meanwhile, Kings XI Punjab, which have a huge purse for the bidding, have changed their name to Punjab Kings.

Kings XI Punjab are yet to win a single title.

Punjab Kings co-owner Preity Zinta tweeted, "Landed in Chennai for the IPL auction. Super curious to know, which players would you like to see in the #PunjabKings jersey this year Let me know folks - I’m all ears.."
