IPL: Sunrisers beat CSK

Ranchi, May 22 (IBNS): David Warner slammed 90 runs which helped his Sunrisers Hyderabad beat Chennai Super Kings (CSK) by six wickets in an Indian Premier League (IPL) match here on Thursday.

Chasing Chennai's 185 for three, Sunrisers reached 189 for four wickets with two balls to spare.

Chasing 186 for victory, Warner and Shikhar Dhawan (64*) added 116 runs on the scoreboard in the first wicket partnership .

Warner was dismissed in the 12th over of the match.

Dhawan, however, kept himself steady and helped the team reach the target easily at the end.

Naman Ojha (19) and Aaron Finch (7) were returned to the pavilion without contributing much with their willows while skipper Darren Sammy  (0) did not disturb the scorers in the game.

Suresh Raina, Ravindra Jadeja and John Hastings  picked up a wicket each for CSK.

Earlier, riding on David Hussey (50*) and MS Dhoni (57*), CSK posted 185 on the scoreboard.

Karn Sharma picked up two wickets for the Hyderabad side.
