Juan Martín del Potro withdraws from Brisbane Open

Brisbane, Jan 1 (IBNS) Argentine Tennis star Juan Martín del Potro has withdrawn from the Brisbane International, officials said.

The Tennis star has withdrawn from the tournament due to left wrist injury.

"Australian duo John Millman and James Duckworth have been handed the perfect start to the new year, earning the final two wildcards into the Brisbane International," read brisbaneinternational.com.au website.

"They will join their countryman Sam Groth in the main draw, with the 27-year-old replacing former US Open champion Juan Martin del Potro, who was forced to withdraw with a persistent left wrist injury," it said.
