KKR players inaugurate sports medicine facility in Kolkata's CMRI

Kolkata, Apr 15 (IBNS) Cricketer Yusuf Pathan and his KKR teammates inaugurated the specialized sports medicine clinic at Calcutta Medical Research Institute (CMRI) on Tuesday.

The event was attended by cricketers Jacques Kallis, Johan Botha, Azhar Mahmood, Kuldeep Yadav and Yusuf Pathan.

Speaking at the press conference, Yusuf said, “I am thankful to the hospital. Injuries do happen to all the players. It is a great initiative.”

Jacques Kallis expressed his gratitude as he said, “It is great to be here. The hospital has been around for a long time. On behalf of KKR I congratulate them for a fantastic effort, well done.”

Ashendu Pandey, CEO of CK Birla Hospitals said, “We come across a lot of sports injuries. The medicine will also include exercise and rehabilitation.”
