Santosh Trophy final to be played on Mar 15

New Delhi, Mar 2 (IBNS) The 69th National Football Championship for Santosh Trophy 2014-15 Final Round has kicked off in Punjab.

The matches will be played simultaneously in Jalandhar and Ludhiana from Mar 1-15, 2015.

Champions for a record 31 times, West Bengal have been clubbed in Group A alongside Punjab , Maharashtra, Services and Assam. Meanwhile, last year’s Champions Mizoram are juxtaposed against Delhi, Railways, Kerala and Goa in Group B.

Teams from Group A; Assam, Punjab, Maharashtra, Services and West Bengal will play in Guru Nanak Stadium, Ludhiana.

Whereas, Teams from Group B; Delhi, Railways, Kerala, Goa and Mizoram will play in Guru Govind Singh Stadium, Jalandhar.

The semi finals and Finals of the Santosh Trophy will be held in Ludhiana on Mar 12-13 and March 15, respectively.
