Shane Watson smashes 106 runs, helps CSK beat RR by 64 runs
Pune, Apr 21 (IBNS): Riding on Shane Watson's dashing 106 runs knock, Chennai Super Kings defeated Rajasthan Royals by 64 runs in an IPL match here on Friday.
Chennai posted 204 runs for the loss of five wickets and then Rajasthan were bowled out for 140 runs.
Suresh Raina added 46 runs.
Watson smashed nine boundaries and six sixes in his 57-ball knock.
Gopal picked up three wickets for Rajasthan.
Chasing 205 runs for victory, Rajasthan never gained momentum in reaching the target.
Ben Stokes remained the only top scorer for Rajasthan with his 45 runs.
CSK bowlers dominated the match after Watson's heroic knock and kept picking up wickets at regular intervals.
