The message of the Constitution must reach the future generations: Modi

New Delhi, Dec 1 (IBNS): Participating in the debate over Constitution in the Parliament, Prime Minister Narendra Modi said the message of the Constitution must reach the future generations.

"Constitution should be a celebration and the message of the Constitution must reach the future generations," Modi said in the Rajya Sabha.

"This debate is special because we mark the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar," he said.

"If there is something we turn to when we need guidance, inspiration it is the Constitution," he said.

Modi said every person has made a positive contribution to the nation to help in the development of India.

He said: "Our Constitution is not about laws only. It is a social document. We admire these facets of our Constitution."

He said oppourtunities should be found that will help in uniting the nation.

Modi said: "We have responsibility to inspire people to maintain unit."
