Wimbledon: Nadal reaches last 16
Down by a set, Nadal bounced back as he defeated his opponent 6-7 (4-7) 6-1 6-1 6-1.
In another clash, former champion Maria Sharapova continued her good form and defeated American Alison Riske to reach the fourth of the tournament.
She defeated the American player 6-3 6-0.
"I made a slow start but I felt better as the match went on," French Open champion Sharapova told BBC Sport.
