Oman reports 144 new COVID-19 cases, 1,410 in total

Muscat/Xinhua/UNI: The Omani Ministry of Health announced on Monday that 144 new confirmed cases of COVID-19 have been registered in the country, bringing the total to 1,410.

According to a statement issued by the ministry, the 144 new cases, all community contacts, include 58 Omanis.

In addition, five more cases have recovered, bringing the total number of the recoveries to 238, the statement noted.

The ministry called on everyone to observe the procedures for quarantine, not to go to public places or places of worship, and to ensure public hygiene.
