Two wounded in shooting in Ottawa

Ottawa (Xinhua/UNI) Two men were wounded in a shooting in the western part of Canadian capital city of Ottawa Sunday morning, according to Ottawa Police.

Police said they responded to reports of shooting in a two-story house in the Nepean district of Ottawa after 0600 hrs on Sunday.


The two wounded people were sent to hospital. One is in critical condition and the other was injured in the leg.


The house was being rented on Airbnb and that the two males may have been shot at an after-party. Police are investigating the case.
