Srinagar/IBNS: A grenade hurled by terrorists on Tuesday near one of the gates of Kashmir University in Srinagar left several people injured, media reports said.

The grenade was thrown near Sir Syed Ahmed gate where people were standing this afternoon.

The Jammu and Kashmir had cautioned people from going near encounter zones due to the high risk of stray explosives.

On Sunday, a five-member civil society delegation led by former BJP leader Yashwant Sinha was not allowed to move out of Srinagar due to security reasons, an HT report said.
