Jharkhand: Old man killed over land dispute in Palamu

Daltonganj, Jul 22 (UNI) An old man killed was killed over a land dispute in Dulsuma village under Satbarwa Police Station area of this district.

The deceased has been identified as Nageshwar Singh (60). The wife of the deceased in her statement before the police said that her husband had been embroiled in a land dispute with his relatives for many years.

She said that yesterday night while her husband was sleeping his relatives attacked him with a sharp edged weapon due to which he died on the spot.

Later, the body was sent for post-mortem to Sadar Hospital. Police was conducting search to nab the culprits.
